Located within the city's tourist area, near Amathus, Athena and Louis Imperial hotels, this narrow bay has a pictureque sandy beach strewn with random rocks. This Blue Flag beach is clean with clear water and is near many hotels, shops selling souvenirs, restaurants and local tavernas. There are sun beds and umbrellas for hire on the beach for a small fee, as well as lifeguards on duty from 11:00 to 17:30 during swimming season.
Pachyammos is known as a safe and clean beach ideal for families and good for groups too with the city's nightlife and facilities just a few steps away.
