With a sandy beach and magical view towards the city’s harbor and ancient castle, the SODAP Municipal Beach has a lot going for it. It is located a short walk from many hotels in the tourist area of Kato Pafos, and is easily accessible with its own bus stop near the entrance. Parking is also available for those who prefer to bring their own car or bike.
The facilities are clearly signposted from the access road, making the beach easy to find even for new visitors. The beach’s water quality is tested frequently and the beach front is regularly cleaned. Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment are on duty from June 1st to October 15th from 11:00 to 17:30 hours. Watersports enthusiasts and those who enjoy a lounge under the sun will benefit from equipment available for hire at the beach area.
